hippopotamus was hunted and killed by villagers in Kogi state.

It was gathered that the large mammal was allegedly terrorizing the people of Ikumo and it
environs within the state before it was finally gunned down.
The hippo was butchered on Tuesday, January 22nd (yesterday) at about 5:45 pm, according to reports.
